Numa Sport Optics is dedicated to creating the highest quality eyewear, built to last, no matter the conditions. We are committed to combining the very best optical technology for our lenses with lightweight, resilient performance design for our frames.
Numa’s Origins Numa was founded by a nature-loving sniper-scout named JB to fill a gap in the outdoors market. What was missing? High performance eyewear with resilience enough to withstand the rigors of the field. When JB discovered MemFibr™, the smash-proof frame material out of Switzerland, he was halfway to his goal. The rest: performance wraparound glasses engineered to protect the eyes, a person’s most valuable asset. Our models feature anti-fog venting, no-slip-grip-rubber temple/nose pads, perfect distortion-free ocular clarity, impact- and scratch-resistant lenses, 100% UV400 protection, and interchangeable lens options to suit every condition.
Since hitting the market in Summer of ’07, Numa has generated a buzz of excitement among adventure racers, off-road triathletes, and military personnel. Numa Sport Optics is already being worn and endorsed by 3 of the top 5 world-ranked adventure race teams.
Our Product
Reliable Frames are constructed from our patented Swiss MemFibr™, which can be bent, flexed, sat on, whatever, they won’t break. All models feature reinforced hinges and nose-bridge for durability. All of our lenses are made of impact-resistant and shatter-resistant polycarbonate or JetShield technology.
Protective Key features of Numa frames are rubberized nose and/or temple pads to prevent slippage, a tight “wrap,” to protect against wind, dust and debris, venting between lens and frame on “extreme wrap” models to prevent fogging. All lenses provide 100% protection from harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays.
Lightweight A pair of frames with lenses in place weighs only 23 to 26 grams*, that’s less than one ounce - so light that you hardly feel you’re wearing them!
Numa Sport Optics: Kid-proof. Crash-proof. Smash-proof. Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty against breakage and lens scratches. The last pair of glasses you’ll ever need to buy.
