Starting back in 2003, B.A.B. Fly Fishing was a dream of Andrew Barela who didn't like to pay the high prices for fishing flies. Being a very artistic person, he started to tie his own flies and sell them through the internet as B.A.B. Flies. With the high demand for his flies, Andrew soon was not able to keep up with the volume of orders. With the help from friends B.A.B. Fly Fishing started to produce flies at a much higher level using quality materials and tied by great craftsman. B.A.B. Flies are used by the some of the elite fly fisherman today.
In 2005, B.A.B. Fly Fishing extended its line by adding quality products manufactured by other companies. Today they still manufacture B.A.B. Flies along with their new B.A.B. Fly Rod Series, which offer the presigious fly fisherman something unique and memborable. They also offers guides, fly shops and individuals custom fly rods made with exotic wood, feathers, and precious metals.
